OPI’s Transition Services professionals carefully plan, manage, and oversee the migration of services from an in-house to an outsourced delivery model. Our team leverages OPTIM, our proprietary transition methodology, to document and migrate processes to OPI locations around the world.
The transition is a new and exciting juncture in the engagement. It is a time when our clients begin to see the benefits of outsourcing, however, it is also a time rife with variability and uncertainty. OPI’s Transition Services team members are experts at managing this risk through careful and thorough documentation, redundancy planning, training, testing, and ongoing communication. OPI’s Transition professionals work to ensure that every function seamlessly transitions to OPI per the agreed upon scope, resources, time, and budget.
It is the careful analysis and forward-looking vision of OPI Transition Services professionals that shape the future operations of the client and set the stage for a strong, successful partnership. To support these goals, we recruit professionals who display dynamic leadership skills and strong analytical capabilities. Our team members typically offer 4-12+ years of experience in both accounting and project management, display good communication skills, and present flexible, positive working attitudes.
Responsibilities will grow as you gain experience with OPI. You may travel abroad to offer hands-on direction during client transitions, manage a team of transition professionals across multiple clients, or provide high-level oversight around quality and risk management. Some of the important contributions you will make as a Transition Services team member include:
- Apply knowledge of client functions, process transformation, and project management techniques, to ensure the on-time, high-quality delivery of service
- Work to establish the project scope, roles and responsibilities, communications, deliverables, and project plan, while authoring key charter agreements in the joint client-OPI Statement of Work
- Assess risk, manage issues, and formulate mitigation plans throughout the transition
- Provide program level oversight while managing multiple transitions projects or teams
- Develop, train, and coach team members in such a way that promotes effective teamwork
