OPI’s Marketing Services team provides clients with efficient, timely support of research, data, and analytics intensive marketing activities. Our clients call upon us for a variety of custom, unique projects that can range from contact/database management, to market positioning studies, to website analytics, on through to proposal writing.
Given the diverse nature of the marketing services provided to our clients, our Marketing Services team is comprised of professionals with a range of educational backgrounds and work experiences. Should you join the Database Management team, you may be looked upon to bring advanced data cleansing and research capabilities, whereas if you join the Web Analytics team, you may join us with a Masters or Post-Graduate degree in Computer Applications as well as experience utilizing various Website Analytics tools. Still yet, should you join our Proposal Support team, you may offer strong writing and editing skills as well as such qualifications as a Masters in Business Administration.
No matter your specific background, or the level at which you join the Marketing Services team, there are always a range of learning opportunities upon which to advance your career. Some of the typical positions held within the Marketing Services team include:
- Associate - Associates are responsible for research, data collection, and data maintenance. Associates play a critical role in ensuring data integrity and completeness.
- Senior Associate - Senior Analysts will conduct data analysis and form recommendations and key takeaways. Additionally, they may begin to develop project management skills by managing smaller projects.
- Team Lead - A Team Lead has oversight responsibility for multiple projects and plays a key role in quality management. The Team Lead typically has frequent client interaction and leads project scoping and work allocation for a group of employees.
- Assistant Manager - An Assistant Manager takes on oversight responsibilities for a larger group of professionals, as well as several Team Leads. Apart from providing increased technical guidance, Assistant Managers are also more involved in client communications, project management, and employee recruiting.
- Manager - A Manager takes on strategy development for the group and may be responsible for such projects as new product development, training, and strategic recruiting.
- As a professional grows and develops, additional opportunities are available as Senior Manager, General Manager, Vice President, and so on.
