OPI’s Business Development team works hand-in-hand with prospective companies to help them understand OPI’s value proposition and the possibilities their company could achieve through outsourcing. This decision process can be quite involved and prospective client executives may require significant guidance in order to fully assess all of the upstream and downstream benefits for the business.
A career in Business Development affords you the opportunity to stay active in the marketplace while helping today’s top-level executives chart the future strategies for their companies. Success will require your ability to command the attention and respect of prospective client executives. As a member of the OPI team, you would be called upon to develop strong relationships with C-level management from a range of companies and to begin discussions with key decision makers about outsourcing. In addition to phone and face-to-face meetings, you may play a key role in delivering proposals, as well as working with outsourcing intermediary groups. Throughout all communications, you must be able to clearly identify where our services would integrate within their operations and fully demonstrate the business impact of outsourcing.
As the liaison between the prospect and our own service delivery team, your insight will help to determine the scope of services, the design of the solution, and the change management focus required for a successful transition. The work that you do and the relationship that you develop will work to lay the foundation for a successful, balanced, and long-lasting relationship.
